Cemfree

An alkali-activated cementitious binder (AACM) using no Portland cement at all. It activates industrial by-products such as GGBS and PFA to make concrete, with a manufacturer-stated embodied-carbon cut of up to 85% versus traditional cement. PAS8820-standard testing and BSI conformance (Optima) stated. Used on major UK infrastructure including the McLaren ExCeL expansion and Thames Tideway.
