A press-moulding waste composite from Mater, Copenhagen. Coffee bean shells (roasting by-product), sawdust, post-consumer e-waste and post-industrial fibres mixed with a binder — nine blends (five with plastic-waste binder, four with sugarcane-derived biodegradable plastic). Formed by standard furniture-industry press moulding; all Matek furniture can be returned to Mater and recycled into new furniture. Designed for disassembly and repair.
